Halesowen Tennis Club is set in a quiet area of Halesowen, with views over the picturesque Illey.
It's a vibrant and friendly tennis club with around 200 members. This includes dedicated coaches, Men’s, Ladies and Mixed teams in local leagues, plus a full programme of junior tennis. Players of all standards can find what they’re looking for. We also have an active social calendar, published annually so you can see what's on at the club.

Halesowen Tennis club is part of the larger Halesowen Athletics & Cycling Club (HACC) and is a well-established organisation, with competitive teams and members who regularly enjoy playing tennis and socializing.
The Tennis Section of HACC was established, we believe, in the 1950s, initially with two courts. A third was added in the 1970s and a fourth in 1993. The driveway was tarmacced in 2009, improving access to the courts and pavilion. A pavilion refurbishment was completed in 2010 with the help of a grant from Staffs LTA. With a grant and loan from the LTA and its own fund-raising the Section completed a refurbishment of its 4 courts in 2011 including disabled access and the installation of new low-level floodlights. This extends the court time available; allowing increased coaching, practice, matches and social play.
Men's, Ladies & Mixed teams play in Summer and Winter leagues in Warwickshire, Staffordshire and Hereford & Worcester. Juniors play internal and inter-club tournaments which count for LTA ranking points. Senior Citizens have popular sessions on three afternoons a week.
The Section's professional coaching team runs coaching sessions for mini-tennis, juniors, adult beginners, improver's and team players. The coaches also go into local schools in partnership with Dudley MBC to run coaching and tennis introduction sessions.
Facilities
The club has excellent facilities and as of early 2020, the club now has 4 brand new Euroclay tennis courts. As of 2023 the club has now been fitted with brand new LED floodlights across all 4 courts. We have a comfortable clubhouse with kitchen & catering facilities, as well as separate male & female changing facilities which include toilets and washbasins.
In addition, as members of the larger HACC, we also have full access of their larger main clubhouse, which includes a well-priced bar and comfortable seating for post-match socialising! We also run a number of social events for the tennis club at this larger facility throughout the year. These include BBQ's, quiz nights, skittles, etc. All events can be found under the events calendar.
